Just bart?

Trønder – English dictionary part 1.

Bart = moustache. Hair on upper lip of (preferably) men. Is associated with stigma when appears on women. Bart is a concept commonly associated with Trønder heritage and culture. This particularly goes for the trønderbart wich is a bart that is quite big and fluffy. Bart is not to be confused with ‘skjegg’ witch is facial hair grown on chin and below mouth.

The singular bart, the bart standing alone, without a skjegg, appears to be a concept spreading rapidly among young men in our society.

This calls for a discussion on ethic and perhaps even epic proposions: Can bart ever really be justified? Even more problematic: does a Trønder identity justify bart?

To illustrate my question, I have here a link to a bart that I found particularly disturbing.

Does anyone have an example of a good bart?

Gromblogg

It's time to try this medium of blogging that everyone is talking about. Testing testing...

My motives are not to stun the world, or to get new friends (God forbid - i don't like strangers much). It is simply to learn to blog.

Therefore - In this blog you will not find my innermost secrets (not that i have any) or get any more clues on the meaning of life. Sad to say, you will probably not find much of interest.

It is therefore to be considered a blog as navlebeskuende (Norwegian word directly translated into navelonlooking, but sort of meaning selfish) as any, and probably less exiting than most.

With these words of trivia, let the blog begin...
